Let's Teach Time!
The following links provide examples of concrete materials that students can create and use in the learning of time. Pedagogical suggestions are made for integrating these resources into lessons and units of work but are certainly not finite. These resources and lesson ideas are ideally for students between years' two and four – as they assists in building the knowledge and skills identified in the corresponding Australian Curriculum Achievement Standards; however they are also extremely beneficial for older students who have not yet constructed robust mental referents for working with time, and those students who have learning difficulties or intellectual disabilities.
